I learned so much from this book. While I don't agree with all claims, the suggestions made are generally safe and worth trying. It has been a while since I was strictly eating according to his guidelines. I found the diet to be unsustainable; however, I took on a much better approach to diet and many of his suggestions stuck with me and I continue to make better decisions as a result. I know I'm doing the right thing for my insides as well as my skin and that feels good which makes my skin better. A must-read for anyone with an auto-immune disease.
