About

I am Ashish Agarwal, 30 years old man from India.I am suffering from psoriasis since last 9 years and I was covered almost 80% with psoriasis flakes all over my body. After trying almost everything, now I have controlled this skin problem to 10-15% level with:

  • Suitable change in diet and life style
  • Regular exercise
  • Use of some household herbs like turmeric, black cumin seed oil, coconut oil and flax seeds

Exact cause of Psoriasis is still unknown. It can be a genetic disorder or auto immune disorder or due to accumulation of toxins over an extended period of time due to various issues. But, making suitable positive changes in your diet, life style and using few household herbs would certainly help you to manage/heal this skin condition to a large extent. If you have psoriasis, then come and join us.We are discussing various holistic ways of managing/healing psoriasis.

Psoriasis is a self limiting, chronic condition. In other words it goes through good patches & bad. One of the underlying principles with chronic conditions (and many other experiences in life) is ‘regression to mean’; how do you know the changes would not have happened anyway?

I can relate to your valid point of good and bad patches.I have experienced it in past and now also, I do experience this phase. As i mentioned, I have controlled upto 80-90%, it means I am still having psoriasis and i am working on daily basis to manage it.
But, now those bad patches are not that longer or that painful as it used to be earlier….this is a happy thing for me 🙂

I have had psoriasis for twenty years, and I have turned my life around. I have progressively gotten better for the past 5 years. I am still learning, but I know that you can improve the quality of your life, even with psoriasis. I am glad to find your blog, thank you for sharing what you have learned.

Thanks a lot Christine!!
I am so relieved you know because your comment has come on such a right time.I am receiving e mails, people claiming and questioning the validity of these tips posted on blog. Seems they just don’t want to believe that as simple a thing like changing food habits, balancing your daily routine can help you manage psoriasis so well.Guess there time hasn’t arrived of the ultimate realization that self can be achieved though self efforts only, not with those medicines which we have tried enough.
Thanks for your words. Now, do keep vising it and tell others as well so that we can promote the idea of medicine free management of psoriasis.

Hi, Ashish

I am surprised you say nothing about aleppo soap.
I am from France and in Europe everybody who has psoriasis use to wash the body aleppo soap, dead sea salt…
When I came by in the Us I was so sad not find those kind of products and I recently find this website http://www.lapetitecigale.com where I’ve found all my products !

Moreover, we all go in cure La Roche Posay for
3 weeks every year where you learn to eat well ( vegetables, fish…) and cream your body ( http://www.water-cure-larocheposay.com/)

I have pso since I am 3 years old so it’s like normal for me but I know it can be difficult for people to live with it.

Take care 🙂

Thanks Chloe for your visit and valuable comment.

I consider psoriasis an internal body issue and any external topical ointment or soap or oil will give some sort of relief from itching and comfort,But, the real issue will not be solved. Thats why I personally don’t rely much on any sort of topical application.

But yes, dead sea salt is considered to have healiing power as I have read on the internet. It is good that it is working for you 🙂

Keep visiting and keep sharing; Enjoy the life!!

It’s true that many people are desperate to have tried almost every medical treatment without any long term results on Pso.

The thing is, when you have tried almost everything traditional medicine told you, the ultimate solution is to find by your self the right way !

I have to admit that I was a bit too verbose on this post :s The learning given on the forum inspired me so much 🙂

I obviously plan to post my experience of healing soon, cause I’m conscious that it’s necessary for people to have concrete living example to follow.

I’m now on my 4th month of food and lifestyle adjustment, and my Pso has almost totally disappeared, that’s why I can promise to share my own experience as soon as my skin stay totally clear during a month at least, it will prove that holistic healing totally works !! 🙂
